WhatsApp Messaging Services

Vempus Technologies Private Limited provides WhatsApp messaging software that lets schools, colleges and other organisations ("our clients") send WhatsApp messages to people who have agreed to receive them. Messages are sent and received through Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform.

What we collect: recipients' WhatsApp phone numbers and names provided by our clients, a record of which organisation each person agreed to hear from, messages sent and replies received, delivery status reported by WhatsApp (sent, delivered, read or failed), and opt-out requests.
How we use it: only to deliver our clients' messages, show them delivery results and replies, and honour opt-outs. We message only people our client confirms have opted in, and we do not sell this data or use it for advertising.
Who processes it: Meta Platforms (WhatsApp), which carries the messages, and Cloudflare, Inc., which hosts the application and database. Access tokens and secrets are stored encrypted.
How long we keep it: contact, consent and message records are kept while our client uses our service and deleted when the client removes them or ends the service. Technical webhook logs are deleted automatically after 7 days.
Minors: our clients are responsible for messaging only people who can lawfully agree to it, such as parents or guardians rather than young students.
Opting out: reply STOP to any message to stop receiving messages from that organisation.
Access or deletion: email contact@vempus.com with your phone number and the organisation that messaged you. We will act on your request within 30 days.

Children's Privacy

Our website and products are not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
